I started with the 500mg tincture to test the product and now I purchase the 3000mg. Its good value and really helps my daily anxiety. The 500mg I had to take every 2 hours but the 3000mg is stronger and lasts me 4-5 hours. I never leave reviews but promised one of the customer service reps I would based on how helpful they were. Company seems legit.

Oils, oils, oils. When it comes to cooking oils, there are oh so many to choose from. Yes, we all know and love olive oil, but it's definitely not the only one you should be using. Different oils have different qualities that make them better for different uses. Some are best for baking, some are best for frying, and some are best in salad dressings. But which is best for which?


I already know about the healthy oils/fats for COOKING with, but it’s the ones for eating cold that I have trouble with–specifically, in making mayonnaise! I most recently made it with half coconut oil and half olive oil, and my husband called it “mayo-butter” because it’s so firm when refrigerated. When we started CBD products we were getting it in candy form from a friend. It worked really well for us adults. But for the kids it was a mess cutting hard candy is a pain. So I thought wed give the 500 mg oil a try see how they liked it. And they love it They prefer it to the candies. My daughter is not a good sleeper and she says that using the oil works better and faster than eating the candy. My sons also love it as well. There is no flavor to worry about. I give them each 4 mg under the tongue for 30 seconds and they happily go to bed and feel good the next day. I am so glad we bought this

Nutrition: One tablespoon has 130 calories and .5g of saturated fat—per Thrive Culinary Algae Oil. That’s the lowest percentage of saturated fats among any other cooking oil. To put things in perspective, algae oil is comprised of 4 percent saturated fat, while olive oil contains 14, canola 7, and coconut 87. Conversely, algae oil also contains the highest level of monounsaturated (good) fats, boasting 90 percent monounsaturated fat, while olive oil has 74, canola 63, and coconut just 6.
I don't know about you, but I grew up thinking canola oil was one step away from propane—AKA, really friggin bad for you. Shaw begs to differ. She says people often think of it as unhealthy because they associate it with fried food. And though yes, canola oil's high smoke point (400 degrees F) and neutral flavor makes it an excellent vehicle for frying, it isn't actually all that bad for you on its own. Much like most of the other healthy oils on this list, it's low in saturated fats, and can be used for roasting, frying, and baking. Because it has a neutral taste that doesn't do much for your food in the flavor department, cooks don't usually recommend using it for sautéing. The reason it has a high smoke point is because it is chemically processed, but that doesn’t have much of an effect on its health qualities.
Research to date points to polyunsaturated fats as an important factor in why plant-rich eating patterns are heart-healthy. Polyunsaturated fats include the two essential fatty acids your body can’t make on its own: alpha-linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) and linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid). The body can transform these two “parent” fatty acids into the other ones you need for adequate nutrition.
A study done in Spain of about 7,500 men and women at high risk of heart disease found that people who were advised to consume a Mediterranean-diet supplemented with extra-virgin olive oil or mixed nuts had a lower rate of heart attack, stroke and death from heart-related causes, compared with people who were advised only to follow a generally low-fat diet. These findings appeared in 2013 in The New England Journal of Medicine.

There is also limited science to back up marketers' claims that coconut oil is much better for the heart than butter is. After evaluating all of the studies available, a 2016 review published in the journal Nutrition Reviews found that people who consumed coconut oil had higher total and LDL cholesterol levels than those who consumed unsaturated fats, although the levels were a bit lower than in the people who used butter.

After researching products, I have found something more affordable than I have come across so far. That will help to keep me loyal to the product. It is a very saturated, competitive field out there for this product, so if it works, and the price is affordable, I will buy it over other products, who wouldn't? I hope as laws change, the cost will come down even more. And if you are wondering for yourself about using this kind of product for your anxiety, I would tell you to give it a try. Start off with a low type dose, and see what works for you.
